     Sir Arthur Elibank Havelock was born on 7 May 1844 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Havelock and Caroline Elizabeth Chaplin.¹ He married Anne Grace Norris on 15 August 1871.¹ He died on 25 June 1908 at age 64 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹
