He married, firstly, Harriet Deacon, daughter of John Deacon, on 9 March 1858 at St. Peter's Church, Southborough, Kent, England.2 He married, secondly, Emily Mary Charlotte Oakes on 2 July 1891 at Christ Church, Lancaster Gate, London, England.2 He died on 26 December 1912 at age 82 at Long Rede, East Barming, Kent, England.2
     He was the Rector at Barming, Maidstone, Kent, EnglandG.1
