     Captain Colin Laird MacGregor is the son of Lt.-Col. Raymond Guy MacGregor.2 He married Caroline Ann Williamson, daughter of Alexander Fergus Forbes Williamson and Sabina Ann MacMorrough Kavanagh, on 26 October 1968.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1
