     William Farquharson, 8th of Invercauld was born circa 1677.¹ He was the son of Alexander Farquharson, 7th of Invercauld and Elizabeth Mackintosh.² He died in 1694, unmarried.¹

     John Farquharson, 9th of Invercauld was the son of Alexander Farquharson, 7th of Invercauld and Elizabeth Mackintosh.² He married, firstly, Isobel Burnett, daughter of Sir Alexander Burnett of Craigmyle.² He married, fourthly, Jean Forbes, daughter of Thomas Forbes, 3rd of Waterton.² He married, secondly, Christian Menzies of Weem.² He married, thirdly, Margaret Murray, daughter of Lord James Murray of Dowally and Anne Murray, in April 1720.² He died in 1750.²
     He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 15 July 1697.² He fought in the Jacobite Rising in 1715, and was then imprisoned London.² He held the office of Burgess of Perth in 1720.² He held the office of Burgess of Inverness in 1720.² He sold Wardhouse to John Gordon of Law circa 1726.² He held the office of Burgess of Stirling in 1728.² He held the office of Burgess of Queensferry in 1728.²

     Honoria Cooper married, firstly, William Henry France Palmer.¹ She married, secondly, William Spencer Beaumont after 1874.¹
     Her married name became Palmer.¹ From after 1874, her married name became Beaumont.¹

     Francis Farquharson of Finzean was the son of Alexander Farquharson of Finzean and Margaret Keith.² He married Margaret Arbuthnot, daughter of Alexander Arbuthnot, 4th of Findowrie and Margaret Lindsay.² He died in March 1707.²
     In 1666 he was retoured heir to his father.²

     William Henry Eyre Hollingworth Palmer was born posthumously circa 1874.¹ He was the son of William Henry France Palmer and Honoria Cooper.¹

     Francis Farquharson of Monaltrie was the son of Alexander Farquharson of Monaltrie and Anne Farquharson.² He married Margaret Eyre, daughter of Rowland Eyre, in 1763.¹ He died in 1791, without issue.¹
     Francis Farquharson of Monaltrie also went by the nick-name of 'Baron Ban'.¹ He fought in the Jacobite Rising in 1745, and was taken prisoner after Culloden, confined in England until 1766.¹ In 1784 his confiscated estates were restored to him.¹

     Rowland Eyre lived at Hassop, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Eyre is the daughter of Rowland Eyre.² She married Francis Farquharson of Monaltrie, son of Alexander Farquharson of Monaltrie and Anne Farquharson, in 1763.¹
     From 1763, her married name became Farquharson.

     Robert Farquharson, 1st of Kinaldie is the son of Alexander Farquharson of Monaltrie and Anne Farquharson.² He married Isobel Keith, daughter of William Keith of Bruxie.¹
