Hadley D'Oyly1

     Hadley D'Oyly was the son of Rev. Sir Hadley D'Oyly, 5th Bt. and Henrietta Maynard Osborne.1 He died in 1775 at Bunker Hill, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Marines.1 He fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.1

     Elizabeth Jane Ross was the daughter of Major Thomas Ross and Isabella MacLeod.1 She married Sir Charles D'Oyly, 7th Bt., son of Sir John Hadley D'Oyly, 6th Bt. and Diana Rochfort.1 She died on 1 June 1875.1
     Her married name became D'Oyly.1

     Amy Agnes White was the daughter of James George White.1 She married, firstly, Sir George Cotton before 1909.1 She married, secondly, Sir Warren Hastings D'Oyly, 10th Bt., son of Sir John Hadley D'Oyly, 8th Bt. and Mary Fendall, on 20 November 1909.1 She died on 14 April 1922.1
     From before 1909, her married name became Cotton.1 From 20 November 1909, her married name became D'Oyly.1
