     Francis George Glencairn CUNINGHAM later CUNINGHAME Cuningham was born on 9 August 1880.1 He was the son of Francis Cuningham and Jean Elizabeth Hutton.2 He married Violet Jessie Phipps Hornby, daughter of Captain Geoffrey Stanley Phipps Hornby, on 9 July 1912.1 He died on 14 July 1956 at age 75.1
     Francis George Glencairn CUNINGHAM later CUNINGHAME Cuningham was Lieutenant-Colonel Argyll & Sutherland Hldrs, Boer –1900 (wounded, Queen's medal, two clasps) and WW I (despatches) War 1899.1

     Violet Jessie Phipps Hornby was Rifle Brigade.1 Her married name became Cuningham.
