     Violet Hope Wynne-Eyton is the daughter of Major John Hope Wynne-Eyton.¹ She married Alan John Fairbairn Wynne-Eyton, son of Reverend Adam Henderson Fairbairn and Anna Gertrude Fuller Maitland, on 12 December 1928.¹
     From 12 December 1928, her married name became Fairbairn. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1930.¹
