     Sir John Alwyne Pelly, 6th Bt. was born on 11 September 1918.1 He was the son of Sir Harold Alwyne Pelly, 5th Bt. and Caroline Earle Heywood Jones.2 He married, firstly, Ava Barbara Ann Dunn, daughter of Brigadier Keith Frederick William Dunn and Charlotte Ava Kays, on 11 September 1945.1 He and Ava Barbara Ann Dunn were divorced in 1950.1 He married, secondly, Elsie May Dechow, daughter of L. Thomas Dechow, on 16 May 1950.1 He married, thirdly, Ava Barbara Ann Dunn, daughter of Brigadier Keith Frederick William Dunn and Charlotte Ava Kays, in 1990.1 He died on 1 June 1993 at age 74 at Southampton, Hampshire, England.1,3
     He was educated at Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942, where he became a POW.1 He fought in the Malayan Emergency between 1948 and 1949.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1966.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire in 1972.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Pelly, of Upton, Essex [U.K., 1840] in 1981.1

Robert Henry William Dunn and Catherine Constance Selina Erskine.3 He married, firstly, Charlotte Ava Kays, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Horace Francis Kays and Emily Colvin, in 1915 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2 He married, secondly, Dorothy Joan Beauchamp, daughter of Sir Frank Beauchamp, 1st Bt. and Mabel Constance Bannon, on 14 November 1946.3 He died in 1985.2
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)3

     Ava Barbara Ann Dunn was born in 1924.2 She was the daughter of Brigadier Keith Frederick William Dunn and Charlotte Ava Kays.3,4 She married, firstly, Sir John Alwyne Pelly, 6th Bt., son of Sir Harold Alwyne Pelly, 5th Bt. and Caroline Earle Heywood Jones, on 11 September 1945.1 She and Sir John Alwyne Pelly, 6th Bt. were divorced in 1950.1 She married, secondly, Major David Michael de Lérisson Cazenove, son of Captain Bernard de Lérisson Cazenove and Sybil de la Poer Beresford, in 1951.1 She married, thirdly, Sir John Alwyne Pelly, 6th Bt., son of Sir Harold Alwyne Pelly, 5th Bt. and Caroline Earle Heywood Jones, in 1990.1 She died on 17 April 2018.2
     Ava Barbara Ann Dunn usually went by her middle name of Barbara.1 From 11 September 1945, her married name became Pelly. From 1951, her married name became Cazenove.1 She lived in 2003 at 9 Brook Street, Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
