     Edmund Paston was born circa 1588.1 He was the son of Christopher Paston and Anna Audeley.2 He married Katherine Knyvett, daughter of Thomas Knyvett.1 He died in 1632.1

     Sir William Paston, 1st Bt. was born circa 1610.1 He was the son of Edmund Paston and Katherine Knyvett.2 He married Katherine Bertie, daughter of Robert Bertie, 1st Earl of Lindsey, in 1631.1 He died on 22 February 1662, /3 by his 1st w:.1
     Norfolk.1 Married 2nd Margaret (married 2nd George Strode), sister of Sir George Hewitt.1 He lived Oxnead.1 In 1636 Sheriff Norfolk.1 He was created 1st Baronet Paston on 7 June 1641.1

     Sir Robert Paston, 1st Earl of Yarmouth was born on 29 May 1631.1 He was the son of Sir William Paston, 1st Bt. and Katherine Bertie.2 He married Rebecca Clayton, daughter of Sir Jasper Clayton, in 1650.1 He died on 8 March 1682 at age 50, /3, with three younger sons (of which the eldest dspm, the 2nd d without issue and the youngest had a son who apparently died without issue ) and a daughter (married but apparently died without issue ):.1
     Sir Robert Paston, 1st Earl of Yarmouth lived Paston.1 Both Norfolk (all E).1 He was educated Westminster and Trin College Cambridge.1 Also 1st EARL OF YARMOUTH.1 He was also known as 2nd Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Court Party, later Tory) Thetford and Castle Rising 1661–73 in 1660.1 In 1660 knighted.1 He was Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1663.1 In January 1666 Gent Privy Chamber /7.1 On 19 August 1673 as also earlier Viscount Yarmouth and Baron Paston.1 In 1674 High Steward and Freedom Gt Yarmouth and 1675 respectively, Freedom King's Lynn 1679.1 In 1676 Ld-Lt and V-Adml Norfolk.1 On 30 July 1679 so created.1
