Henrietta Caroline Dundas was born circa 1868 at Dundas Castle, Linlithgowshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Henry Robert Duncan Dundas and Hon. Catherine Anne Carrington Napier.3 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir David Henderson, son of David Henderson, on 18 December 1895.1 She died on 14 April 1959.1
She was invested as a Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.).1 From 18 December 1895, her married name became Henderson. She was invested as a Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1919.1
