     Sir Henry Stirling of Ardoch, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 November 1688.1 He was the son of Sir William Stirling of Ardoch, 2nd Bt.1 He died on 24 November 1753 at age 65.1
     Sir Henry Stirling of Ardoch, 3rd Bt. gained the title of 3rd Baronet Stirling, of Ardoch.

     Alison Bruce was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Bruce, 6th of Kennet and Mary Swinton.2,1 She married George Dundas of Dundas, son of George Dundas of Dundas and Margaret Hay, on 20 June 1718.1 She died on 31 July 1754.1
     From 20 June 1718, her married name became Dundas.

     James Dundas of Dundas was born in 1721.1 He is the son of George Dundas of Dundas and Alison Bruce.2 He married Jean Forbes, daughter of William Forbes, 13th Lord Forbes, on 22 April 1748.1 He died in 1780.1
     James Dundas of Dundas held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Linlithgowshire.1 He held the position of 24th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 94th Regiment.1
