     Charles Barclay was born on 2 October 1837.1 He was the son of Robert Barclay and Rachel Hanbury. He married Charlotte Cassandra Cherry, daughter of Benjamin Cherry and Charlotte Cassandra Phillpotts, in 1875.1 He died on 2 January 1910 at age 72.1
     He lived at Bayford, Hertfordshire, England.2

     From 19 September 1865, her married name became Hornby.1
