     Joan Edith Gabbett was born on 24 January 1910.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Gabbett and Sophia Janet Knox.^2,1 She married Maurice William Gibbon, son of Edward Acton Gibbon and Eleanora Alcock, on 10 October 1936.¹ She died on 2 January 1974 at age 63.¹
     From 10 October 1936, her married name became Gibbon.

     Edward Acton Gibbon was born on 28 December 1873.² He was the son of William Monk Gibbon and Margaretta Ussher Davis-Goff.² He married Eleanora Alcock, daughter of Lt.-Col. Nathaniel Alcock, on 2 February 1898.² He died on 22 July 1965 at age 91.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)² He lived at Rathculliheen, County Waterford, Ireland^G.²

     Maurice William Gibbon was born on 31 January 1910.² He is the son of Edward Acton Gibbon and Eleanora Alcock.² He married Joan Edith Gabbett, daughter of Edward Gabbett and Sophia Janet Knox, on 10 October 1936.¹
     He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England^G.² He graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He was educated at Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture, Trinidad.² He was Deputy Director of Agriculture before 1956 at Nigeria^G.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1956.² He lived in 1976 at Longraigue, Foulksmills, County Wexford, Ireland^G.²

     Anne Marshall is the daughter of Laurence Marshall.¹ She married Joseph Gabbett, son of William Gabbett and Eliza Furnell.¹
     Her married name became Gabbett.¹

     Laurence Marshall lived at Toomaline, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Josephine Gabbett was the daughter of Venerable Edward Gabbett and Emily Massy.² She married Richard Pennefather Lloyd Pennefather on 14 January 1903.¹ She died on 13 April 1946.¹

     Richard Pennefather Lloyd Pennefather married Mary Josephine Gabbett, daughter of Venerable Edward Gabbett and Emily Massy, on 14 January 1903.¹ He died on 1 May 1949.¹

     Charlotte Gabbett was the son of Joseph Gabbett and Mary Litton.² He died, unmarried.¹

     Jane Gabbett was born in 1818.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Gabbett and Mary Litton.² She married Rt. Rev. Maurice Fitzgerald Day on 29 July 1852.¹ She died on 7 February 1904.¹
