     Lt.-Gen. Robert Richardson-Robertson was born on 14 November 1809.¹ He was the son of James Richardson and Elizabeth Stewart.² He married, firstly, Hon. Martha Rollo, daughter of John Rollo, 8th Lord Rollo of Duncrub and Agnes Greig, on 26 September 1850.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Julia Louisa Leslie-Melville, daughter of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Harriet Thornton, on 29 March 1869.¹ He died on 1 November 1883 at age 73.¹
     He was given the name of Thomas Richardson at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 3rd Dragoon Guards.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).¹ He lived at Ballathie, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He lived at Tulliebelton, Perthshire, Scotland.¹ He lived at Kinnaird, Scotland.¹

     Hon. Norman Leslie-Melville was born on 5 February 1839.¹ He was the son of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Sophia Thornton.² He married Georgina Ball, daughter of Captain William Shirley Ball, on 4 December 1861.¹ He died on 13 November 1923 at age 84.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Georgina Ball was the daughter of Captain William Shirley Ball.² She married Hon. Norman Leslie-Melville, son of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Sophia Thornton, on 4 December 1861.¹ She died on 30 December 1922.¹
      From 4 December 1861, her married name became Leslie-Melville.

     Captain William Shirley Ball lived at Abbeylara, County Longford, Ireland.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 8th Hussars.¹

     Captain Hon. David William Leslie Melville was born on 23 May 1892.¹ He was the son of Ronald Ruthven Leslie Melville, 13th Earl of Leven and Hon. Emma Selina Portman.¹ He married, firstly, Susanna Elizabeth Johanna Sleigh, daughter of Francis William Nicholas Sleigh and Susanne Elizabeth Gertruda Johanna Pienaar, on 6 March 1914.¹ He and Susanna Elizabeth Johanna Sleigh were divorced in 1928.¹ He married, secondly, Eleanor Mary Barrell Abrahall, daughter of Arthur John Abrahall, in 1929.¹ He died on 10 December 1938 at age 46.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Lovat Scouts.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Order of the Redeemer of Greece.¹ He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Ian Leslie Melville was born on 14 August 1894.² He was the son of Ronald Ruthven Leslie Melville, 13th Earl of Leven and Hon. Emma Selina Portman.² He married Charlotte Isabel Stirling, daughter of Major William Stirling, on 26 August 1915.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1917 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).² He lived at Bridgelands, Selkirk, Scotland. He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1932 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-COlonel in the service of the Lovat Scouts.² He was deputy chairman of Dalgety and Company between 1949 and 1955.² He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.² He was managing director of Glyn Mills and Company.²

     Lady Constance Betty Leslie Melville was born on 7 August 1888.¹ She was the daughter of Ronald Ruthven Leslie Melville, 13th Earl of Leven and Hon. Emma Selina Portman.¹ She died on 13 August 1922 at age 34.¹

     Susanna Elizabeth Johanna Sleigh is the daughter of Francis William Nicholas Sleigh and Susanne Elizabeth Gertruda Johanna Pienaar.^1,2 She married, firstly, unknown Boonzaier.² She married, secondly, Captain Hon. David William Leslie Melville, son of Ronald Ruthven Leslie Melville, 13th Earl of Leven and Hon. Emma Selina Portman, on 6 March 1914.¹ She and Captain Hon. David William Leslie Melville were divorced in 1928.¹
      Her married name became Boonzaier.² From 6 March 1914, her married name became Leslie Melville.¹

     Francis William Nicholas Sleigh married Susanne Elizabeth Gertruda Johanna Pienaar.²
     He lived at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.¹

     Eleanor Mary Barrell Abrahall was the daughter of Arthur John Abrahall.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Hon. David William Leslie Melville, son of Ronald Ruthven Leslie Melville, 13th Earl of Leven and Hon. Emma Selina Portman, in 1929.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Arthur Miller on 24 August 1939.¹ She died in 1974.¹
