Gerald William Frederick Savile Foljambe, 3rd Earl of Liverpool was born on 12 May 1878.1 He was the son of Cecil George Saville Foljambe, 1st Earl of Liverpool and Susan Louisa Cavendish.1 He married Constance Isabelle Holden, daughter of John Holden, on 29 July 1909.1 He died on 27 July 1967 at age 89, without issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Bombay between 1904 and 1905.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was commander of the 21st Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Viscount Hawkesbury of Kirkham, co. York and of Mansfield, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1905] on 15 May 1941.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Earl Liverpool [U.K., 1905] on 15 May 1941.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Hawkesbury of Haselbech, co. Constance Isabelle Holden was the daughter of John Holden.1 She married Gerald William Frederick Savile Foljambe, 3rd Earl of Liverpool, son of Cecil George Saville Foljambe, 1st Earl of Liverpool and Susan Louisa Cavendish, on 29 July 1909.1 She died on 29 March 1976.1
Her married name became Foljambe. As a result of her marriage, Constance Isabelle Holden was styled as Countess of Liverpool on 15 May 1941.
