     Charles S. Elliott was the son of T. Elliott.2 He married Harriet Elinor Alston Duckett, daughter of William Duckett and Harriet Isabella Anne Gordon, on 20 May 1869.1 He died on 12 September 1890.1
     Charles S. Elliott gained the rank of officer in the service of the 20th Regiment.1
