     From 31 July 1909, her married name became Dill.

     Robert Foster Dill was born on 6 June 1883.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. Samuel Marcus Dill and Agnes Graham Rowe.² He married Margaret Douglas Pengelly, daughter of General George Farquharson Pengelly, on 4 September 1913.¹ He died on 11 April 1915 at age 31 at France^G, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 129th Baluchis.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹
