     Charlotte Eliza Hamilton was the daughter of James Hamilton.2 She married Joseph Pratt, son of Mervyn Pratt and Madeline Eglantine Jackson, on 1 September 1870.1 She died on 9 July 1910.1
     From 1 September 1870, her married name became Pratt.

     Mervyn Pratt was born on 24 April 1873.1 He was the son of Joseph Pratt and Charlotte Eliza Hamilton.2 He died in December 1950 at age 77 at Enniscoe, County Mayo, IrelandG, unmarried.3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He fought in the Boer War, where he was badly wounded.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Cabra Castle, Kingscourt, County Cavan, IrelandG.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Scots.1 He fought in the First World War.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.3

     He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Meath Militia.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Meath in 1867.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Meath.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Meath.1 He lived at Rockfield, County Meath, IrelandG.1
