     Major Thomas Auchinleck was born on 16 January 1837.2 He was the son of Daniel Eccles Auchinleck and Elizabeth Dorothea Stack.3 He married Jane Loxdale, daughter of George Henry Loxdale, on 29 September 1868.2 He died on 1 February 1893 at age 56.2
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 11th (North Devon) Regiment.2 He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1872.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Tyrone.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tyrone.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the service of the Royal Tyrone Fusiliers.2 He lived at Crevenagh, County Tyrone, Ireland.1 He lived at Shannock Green, County Fermanagh, Ireland.2

     Norah Lillian Loxdale Auchinleck was born on 11 July 1872.2 She was the daughter of Major Thomas Auchinleck and Jane Loxdale.3 She married Venerable James George Reginald Darling, son of Reverend James George Darling and Mary Emily Johnson, on 29 July 1896.1 She died on 10 April 1951 at age 78.1
      From 29 July 1896, her married name became Darling.

     Lt.-Col. Ralph Reginald Auchinleck Darling was born on 28 August 1897.2 He was the son of Venerable James George Reginald Darling and Norah Lillian Loxdale Auchinleck.3 He married Freda Moira Bessie Moriarty, daughter of Reverend Gerald Ivory King Moriarty, on 3 September 1919.2 He died on 31 May 1958 at age 60.2
     He was educated at Twyford School, Twyford, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was educated at Woodbridge School, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was commissioned, in the service of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.2 He gained the rank of officer in 1923 in the service of the Royal Signals.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943, when he retired due to ill health.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1948.2 He lived at Crevenagh, County Tyrone, Ireland.2

     James Leslie Auchinleck Darling was born on 30 May 1900.1 He was the son of Venerable James George Reginald Darling and Norah Lillian Loxdale Auchinleck.2 He married Beatrice Henrietta Talbot, daughter of Captain Henry Lynch Talbot, on 30 January 1924.1 He died on 27 April 1973 at age 72.1
     He was educated at Dover College, Dover, Kent, England.1 He was educated at Woodbridge School, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He retired from the military in 1929, with the rank of Lieutenant, late of the Royal Artillery when he was invalided.1 At Bermuda He founded a family business.1 He lived at Bermuda.1

      From 30 January 1924, her married name became Darling. She was Commissioner of Police, Perak, Federated Malay States.1

     Major Peter Henry Darling was born on 5 February 1925.1 He is the son of James Leslie Auchinleck Darling and Beatrice Henrietta Talbot.2 He married Joan Avery Joslin, daughter of Frank Georjte Joslin, on 2 July 1949.1
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Salters Grammar School, Bermuda.1 In 1948 he qualified as a commando parachutist.1 He fought in the Malayan Emergency in 1952, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Suez Campaign in 1956.1 In 1962 He served in Brunei.1 He fought in the Borneo Campaign between 1963 and 1964.1 He was Chief Signals Officer between 1963 and 1967.1 He fought in the Aden Campaign in 1967.1 He retired from the military in 1971, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Marines.1 In 1971 he joined the family business in Bermuda.1 He lived in 1976 at Warwick, Hamilton, Bermuda.1
