     He was educated at St. Columba's College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Dean of Chester.¹

     Rev. Canon Frank George Hopwood is the son of Robert Gregge Hopwood and Hon. Cecilia Byng. He married Lady Eleanor Mary Smith-Stanley, daughter of Edward Smith-Stanley, 13th Earl of Derby and Charlotte Margaret Hornby.

     Cecilia Catherine Hopwood was the daughter of Rev. Canon Frank George Hopwood and Lady Eleanor Mary Smith-Stanley.² She married Very Rev. John Lionel Darby, son of Reverend Christopher Lovett Darby and Mary Boyle, on 4 May 1871.¹ She died on 10 April 1921.¹
     From 4 May 1871, her married name became Darby.

     Lionel Frank Christopher Darby was born on 30 April 1873.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. John Lionel Darby and Cecilia Catherine Hopwood.² He died on 17 November 1954 at age 81, unmarried.¹
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.¹ He was Admiralty Registrar between 1933 and 1950.¹

     Arthur John Lovett Darby was born on 9 January 1876.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. John Lionel Darby and Cecilia Catherine Hopwood.² He married Gwenydd Mary Williams, daughter of Dr. Richard Williams, on 21 December 1920.¹ He died on 16 January 1960 at age 84.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1893 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Senior Master between 1906 and 1935 at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Dr. Richard Williams lived at Egerton House, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales^G.¹

     Gwenydd Mary Williams is the daughter of Dr. Richard Williams.² She married Arthur John Lovett Darby, son of Very Rev. John Lionel Darby and Cecilia Catherine Hopwood, on 21 December 1920.¹
     From 21 December 1920, her married name became Darby. She lived in 1976 at Athelington, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹

     John Richard d'Esterre Darby was born on 7 April 1922.¹ He was the son of Arthur John Lovett Darby and Gwenydd Mary Williams.² He died on 22 May 1941 at age 19, killed in action off Crete in H.M.S. Gloucester.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Edward Henry d'Esterre Darby was born on 7 March 1880.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. John Lionel Darby and Cecilia Catherine Hopwood.² He married Maud Hester Frost, daughter of James Garrett Frost, on 12 September 1911.¹ He died on 5 December 1958 at age 78.¹
