     Anna Frances Esther Stapleton was the daughter of Sir Thomas Stapleton, 16th Baron Le Despencer and Elizabeth Eliot. She married Henry Maxwell, 7th Baron Farnham, son of Reverend Henry Maxwell, 6th Baron Farnham and Lady Anne Butler, on 3 December 1828. She died on 20 August 1868, killed in a railway accident, along with her husband.
     Her married name became Maxwell.
