Sir William Edward Crosbie, 6th Bt.1

     Sir William Edward Crosbie, 6th Bt. was born on 18 May 1794.1 He was the son of Sir Edward William Crosbie, 5th Bt. and Castiliana Westenra.2 He married Dorothea Alicia Walsh, daughter of John Walsh and Henrietta Crosbie, on 30 March 1839.1 He died on 3 October 1860 at age 66, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Crosbie, of Maryborough, Queen's County [I., 1630] on 5 June 1798.1 He fought in the Battle of Bergen-op-Zoom, where he was severely wounded.1 He gained the rank of Officer in the Army.1

     Sarah Caroline Ray Barnes is the daughter of Sir Ernest John Ward Barnes. She married James Meyer Sassoon, Baron Sassoon, son of Hugh Meyer Sassoon and Marion Julia Schiff, in 1981.
     From 1981, her married name became Sassoon. After her marriage, Sarah Caroline Ray Barnes was styled as Lady Sassoon on 29 May 2010.

     Dorothea Alicia Walsh was the daughter of John Walsh and Henrietta Crosbie.2,1 She married Sir William Edward Crosbie, 6th Bt., son of Sir Edward William Crosbie, 5th Bt. and Castiliana Westenra, on 30 March 1839.1 She died on 11 February 1880.1

     Richard Crosbie was born circa 1756.1 He was the son of Sir Paul Crosbie, 4th Bt. and Mary Daniel.2 He married Charlotte Armstrong, daughter of Archibald Armstrong, in December 1780.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1

     Edward Crosbie was the son of Richard Crosbie and Charlotte Armstrong.2,1 He married Jane Henry, daughter of James Henry, on 1 May 1818.1 He died on 25 June 1834.1
     He gained the rank of Officer in the Army.1 He lived at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1
