     Rt. Hon. Sir Edmund John Monson, 1st Bt. was born on 6 October 1834 at Seal, Kent, England.2 He was the son of William John Monson, 6th Baron Monson of Burton and Eliza Larken.1 He married Eleanor Catherine Mary Munro, daughter of Major James St. John Munro, on 6 July 1881. He died on 28 October 1909 at age 75.
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Monson.

     Eleanor Catherine Mary Munro was the daughter of Major James St. John Munro. She married Rt. Hon. Sir Edmund John Monson, 1st Bt., son of William John Monson, 6th Baron Monson of Burton and Eliza Larken, on 6 July 1881. She died on 29 September 1919.
     Her married name became Monson.

     He was the Vicar at Croft, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1

     Augustus John Debonnaire Monson, 9th Baron Monson of Burton was born on 22 September 1868.1 He was the son of Debonnaire John Monson, 8th Baron Monson of Burton and Augusta Louisa Caroline Ellis.1 He married Romaine Stone, daughter of General Roy Stone, on 1 July 1903.1 He died on 10 October 1940 at age 72.1
     He was Attaché and Private Secretary to the Ambassador to France between 1897 and 1900.1 He was Comptroller of the Household and Equerry to Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in 1900.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Monson, of Carlton [E., 1611] on 18 June 1900.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baron Monson of Burton, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1728] on 18 June 1900.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.1 He was awarded the Grand Officer, Order of the Crown of Italy.1 He was appointed Knight of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.)1

     Romaine Stone was the daughter of General Roy Stone.1 She married, firstly, Laurence Turnure before 1903.1 She married, secondly, Augustus John Debonnaire Monson, 9th Baron Monson of Burton, son of Debonnaire John Monson, 8th Baron Monson of Burton and Augusta Louisa Caroline Ellis, on 1 July 1903.1 She died on 1 January 1943.1
     She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 From before 1903, her married name became Turnure.1 From 1 July 1903, her married name became Monson. After her marriage, Romaine Stone was styled as Baroness Monson of Burton on 1 July 1903.
