     Sir Dyce Duckworth, 1st Bt. was born on 24 November 1840.1 He was the son of Robinson Duckworth and Elizabeth Forbes Nicol.2 He married, firstly, Annie Alicia Hopkins, daughter of Alexander Hopkins, on 26 April 1870.1 He married, secondly, Ada Emily Fuller, daughter of George Arthur Fuller and Georgiana Craven Loraine-Smith, on 4 November 1890.1 He died on 20 January 1928 at age 87.1
     Sir Dyce Duckworth, 1st Bt. lived The Rookery.1 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1863 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He gained the rank of Assistant-Surgeon between 1864 and 1865 in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.) in 1870.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) by Cincinatti University, Cincinatti, Ohio, U.S.A., in 1879.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1886.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) by Royal University of Ireland, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1887.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1890.1 He was Honorary Physician to HRH The Prince of Wales between 1890 and 1891.1 He was invested as a Knight of Justice, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.).1 He was created 1st Baronet Duckworth, of Grosvenor Place, City of Westminster [U.K.] on 15 July 1909.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) by Queen's University, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland, in 1910.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Liverpool University, Liverpool, Lancashire, England, in 1925.1

     Sir Edward Dyce Duckworth, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 July 1875.1 He was the son of Sir Dyce Duckworth, 1st Bt. and Annie Alicia Hopkins.2 He married Cecil Gertrude Leman, daughter of Robert E Leman, on 12 November 1913.1 He died on 5 August 1945 at age 70.1
     Sir Edward Dyce Duckworth, 2nd Bt. graduated from Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of Puisne Judge of the High Court of Rangoon.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1 He was invested as a Knight of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.).1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Duckworth, of Grosvenor Place, City of Westminster [U.K., 1909] on 20 January 1928.1
