Brigadier Marmaduke Murray Dillon was born in 1894.1 He was the son of Maurice Ashurst Dillon.2 He married, firstly, Muriel Hicks, daughter of Rev. Canon Richard Hicks, in 1919.1 He married, secondly, Mildred Whitley in 1956.1 He died in 1976.1

Muriel Hicks is the daughter of Rev. Canon Richard Hicks.2 She married Brigadier Marmaduke Murray Dillon, son of Maurice Ashurst Dillon, in 1919.1

Lt.-Col. Richard Maurice Dillon was born on 4 August 1920.1,2 He was the son of Brigadier Marmaduke Murray Dillon and Muriel Hicks.3 He married Mary Elizabeth Dempsey, daughter of Harry H. Dempsey, in 1945.1 He died on 23 April 2008 at age 87 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.2
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War, in Sicily and Italy.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Efficiency Decoration (E.D.)1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the Canadian Military Forces.1 He was Dean of the Faculty of English Science at Western Ontario University, Ontario, CanadaG.1
