     Sir Anthony Hugh Dewey, 3rd Bt. was born on 31 July 1921.1 He is the son of Major Hugh Grahame Dewey and Marjorie Florence Isobel Dodds.2 He married Sylvia Jacqueline Rosamund MacMahon, daughter of John Ross MacMahon and Emily Marshall, on 22 April 1949.1
     Sir Anthony Hugh Dewey, 3rd Bt. was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the North Somerset Yeomanry.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Dewey, of South Hill Wood, Bromley, Kent [U.K., 1917] in January 1948.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset in 1961.1 He lived in 2003 at The Rag, Galhampton, Yeovil, Somerset, England.1
