Alan Stuart Hunt Chambré was born on 7 January 1908.1 He is the son of Charles Barclay Macpherson Chambré and Nina Lisa Francis Ochiltree Stuart.2 He married Violet Aileen Moorhead, daughter of Wickham Hercules Bradshaw Moorhead, on 22 April 1933.1
Alan Stuart Hunt Chambré was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down in 1939.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Down in 1967.1 He lived in 1976 at Ringdarriff, Annahilt, Hillsborough, County Down, Ireland.1
