     Maj.-Gen. Benjamin Burton was born on 10 March 1855.1 He was the son of Reverend Benjamin Burton and Anne Bruen.2 He died on 24 April 1921 at age 66.1
     Maj.-Gen. Benjamin Burton gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1

     Colonel Hon. Edward Lawless was the son of Edward Lawless, 3rd Baron Cloncurry and Elizabeth Kirwan.1 He married Mary Elizabeth Burton, daughter of Reverend Benjamin Burton and Anne Bruen, on 16 June 1880.1 He died on 24 April 1921.1
     Colonel Hon. Edward Lawless lived at Bryanstown, Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers.1

     John Power Burton was born on 2 September 1833.1 He was the son of William Fitzwilliam Burton and Mary Power.2,1 He married Adelaide Harriet Close, daughter of Henry Samuel Close, on 31 December 1861.1 He died on 10 April 1869 at age 35,.1
