John Head Burdett was born on 21 August 1856.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Burdett and Sybilla Fleetwood.2 He married Adelaide Victoria Stanley Leatham, daughter of Reverend Moses Leatham, on 26 January 1882.1 He died on 11 July 1917 at age 60.1

Adelaide Victoria Stanley Leatham was the daughter of Reverend Moses Leatham.2 She married John Head Burdett, son of Reverend Henry Burdett and Sybilla Fleetwood, on 26 January 1882.1 She died on 7 December 1936.1

Surg.-Capt. John Head Burdett was born on 5 February 1884.1 He was the son of John Head Burdett and Adelaide Victoria Stanley Leatham.2 He married Dorothy Clarice Fisher, daughter of John Fisher, in September 1914.1 He died on 2 July 1958 at age 74,.1
Surg.-Capt. John Head Burdett was educated at Bristol Grammar School, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at St. Mary's Medical School, Paddington, London, England.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.).1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.).1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He retired from the military in 1946, with the rank of Surgeon-Captain, late of the Royal Navy.1
