Arthur St. George Burdett was born on 18 July 1895.1 He was the son of Arthur Hugo Florian de Burdet Burdett and Henrietta Maude St. George.2,3 He married, firstly, Winifred Gilligan, daughter of Martin Gilligan, in 1919.1 He married, secondly, Gladys Lily Rye, daughter of George Kerr Rye, on 17 June 1954.1
Arthur St. George Burdett was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He gained the rank of in the service of the 6th Service Battalion Leicester Regiment.1 He was Field Officer with the Land Drainage Department.1
