Francis Wise Browning was born on 6 June 1854.1 He was the son of Thomas Wise Browning and Emily Gubbins.2 He married, firstly, Meta Burke.1 He married, secondly, Jane Philippa Fosberry, daughter of Thomas Fosberry, on 12 September 1907.1 He died on 18 November 1934 at age 80.1
