     Elizabeth Thomasina Evans Johnston was born on 10 June 1856.¹ She was the daughter of George Birch Johnston and Jane Waring Evans.² She married Reverend Robert McLennon Lauriston Lee, son of Rev. Dr. Alfred J. Lee, on 26 June 1884.¹ She died on 28 September 1938 at age 82.¹
     From 26 June 1884, her married name became Lee.¹

     Isabella Eva Johnston was the daughter of George Birch Johnston and Jane Waring Evans.² She died on 17 February 1953, unmarried.¹

     Charlotte Mona Johnston was the daughter of George Birch Johnston and Jane Waring Evans.² She died on 28 February 1919, unmarried.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Thomas Kelly Evans Johnston was born on 1 May 1860.¹ He was the son of George Birch Johnston and Jane Waring Evans.² He married Margaret Ross Gray, daughter of Archibald Gray, on 19 March 1891.¹ He died on 5 January 1936 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Afghan War in 1880.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War, on London District Staff.¹ He was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1917.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Antrim.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Antrim.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim.¹ He lived at Glynn, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaret Ross Gray was the daughter of Archibald Gray.² She married Brig.-Gen. Thomas Kelly Evans Johnston, son of George Birch Johnston and Jane Waring Evans, on 19 March 1891.¹ She died on 1 March 1947.¹
     From 19 March 1891, her married name became Johnston.

     Randal William MacDonnell Johnston was born on 18 August 1900.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Kelly Evans Johnston and Margaret Ross Gray.² He died on 9 July 1917 at age 16, lost in H.M.S. Vanguard.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.¹

     Margaret Gray Johnston was born on 22 March 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Kelly Evans Johnston and Margaret Ross Gray.² She married Tom Forrest Broom, son of William Broom, on 18 December 1925.¹
     From 18 December 1925, her married name became Broom. She lived in 1976 at Villa Diana, Cannero Riviera, Lago Maggiore, Italy^G.¹

     William Broom lived at Rothmar, Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was a shipyard owner.¹

     Tom Forrest Broom was the son of William Broom.² He married Margaret Gray Johnston, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Kelly Evans Johnston and Margaret Ross Gray, on 18 December 1925.¹ He died on 5 August 1961.¹
     He lived at Killelan, Kintyre, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹
