     Reverend Charles John Fynes-Clinton was born on 16 April 1799.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Fynes-Clinton and Emma Brough.2 He married, firstly, Caroline Clay, daughter of Joseph Clay, on 10 March 1826.3 He married, secondly, Rosabella Matthews, daughter of John Matthews, on 20 May 1828.1 He died on 10 January 1872 at age 72.1
     Reverend Charles John Fynes-Clinton was the Rector at Cromwell, Nottinghamshire, England.1
