Charles de Yerburgh was the son of Richard de Yerburgh and Elizabeth Moyne.2 He married, firstly, Agnes Skipwith, daughter of Sir John Skipwith.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Newcomen, daughter of Martyn Newcomen.1 He died after 15 March 1544/45.1
He was Lord of the Manors of Kelstern, Legbourne and Yarburgh.1 His issue by his first wife appear to have who appear to have sunk in the world, being obliged to alienate Yarburgh after some two generations, though it would seem that the property was later bought back by the more prosperous Yorkshire branch of the family.1
