     Alexander Muir McGrigor was the son of Alexander McGrigor of Cairnoch and Margaret Muir.2,1 He married Eileen Margaret Denny, daughter of Sir Archibald Denny, 1st Bt. and Margaret Tulloch, on 18 July 1917.1 He died on 28 November 1963.1
     Alexander Muir McGrigor gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Gloucestershire Yeomanry.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1

     Sir Alistair Maurice Archibald Denny, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 September 1922.1 He was the son of Sir Maurice Edward Denny, 2nd Bt. and Marjorie Lysaght.2 He married Elizabeth Hunt Lloyd, daughter of Major Sir Ernest Guy Richard Lloyd, 1st Bt., on 18 April 1949.1 He died on 29 August 1995 at age 72.1
     Sir Alistair Maurice Archibald Denny, 3rd Bt. was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was with the Fleet Air Arm between 1944 and 1946.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Denny [U.K., 1913] on 2 February 1955.1
