     Joseph Denman was born in 1731.1 He was the son of John Denman and Elizabeth Buxton.2 He married Elizabeth Finney, daughter of Richard Finney, on 22 March 1761.1 He died on 20 July 1812, without issue.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.1 He lived at Buxton, Derbyshire, England.1
