     She graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1963 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1966 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ From 7 October 1967, her married name became Swales.

     Neville Frederick Townsend was born on 7 July 1863.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Samuel Philip Townsend and Emma Maria Bridges.² He married Helen Maude Cambai, daughter of H. J. Cambai, on 21 October 1908.¹ He died on 26 December 1941 at age 78 at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada^G, as the result of a motor accident.¹
     He emigrated to Canada^G.¹

     H. J. Cambai lived at Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹

     Helen Maude Cambai is the daughter of H. J. Cambai.² She married Neville Frederick Townsend, son of Vice-Admiral Samuel Philip Townsend and Emma Maria Bridges, on 21 October 1908.¹
     From 21 October 1908, her married name became Townsend.

     Philip Cambai Townsend was born on 15 September 1911.¹ He is the son of Neville Frederick Townsend and Helen Maude Cambai.² He married Mary Hermia Ellison on 14 August 1949.¹
