     Catherine Langton is the daughter of Sir William Langton.2 She married Brig.-Gen. Maurice O'Connell, son of Maurice O'Connell and Catherine Barrett.1
     Her married name became O'Connell.

Rickard O'Connell1

     Rickard O'Connell was the son of Brig.-Gen. Maurice O'Connell and Catherine Langton.2 He died in 1739 at London, EnglandG, impoverished.1
     He vainly petitioned for the restoration of his father's attainted estates.1 Rickard O'Connell also went by the nick-name of 'Lame Rick'.1

Lieutenant John O'Connell1

     Lieutenant John O'Connell was the son of Brig.-Gen. Maurice O'Connell and Catherine Barrett.2 He died in 1689 at Derry, County Derry, IrelandG, killed in action.1 He was buried at Inagh Cemetery, Inagh, County Clare, Ireland.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Foot Guards of King James II.1 He fought in the Siege of Derry in 1689.1
