     Rickard O'Connell was the son of Brig.-Gen. Maurice O'Connell and Catherine Langton.2 He died in 1739 at London, England, impoverished.1
     He vainly petitioned for the restoration of his father's attainted estates.1 Rickard O'Connell also went by the nick-name of 'Lame Rick'.1

     Lieutenant John O'Connell was the son of Geoffrey O'Connell and unknown wife (?).2 He died in 1689 at Derry, County Derry, Ireland, killed in action.1
     Lieutenant John O'Connell gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Foot Guards of King James II.1 He fought in the Siege of Derry in 1689.1
