     Charles Thomas Lucas was born on 26 October 1820.1 He was the son of James Jonathan Hughes Delight Lucas and Elizabeth Pearman.2 He married Charlotte Emma Tiffin, daughter of Charles Tiffin, on 27 April 1842.1 He died on 4 December 1895 at age 75.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex in 1879.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex.1 He lived at Warnham Court, Sussex, England.1
