     John Julius Angerstein was born circa 1732 at St. Petersburg, Russia.2,3 He married, firstly, Ann Muilman, daughter of Hendrik Muilman and Ann Darnell, in 1771.3 He married, secondly, Eliza Payne, daughter of Reverend Joseph Payne, in 1785.1 He died on 22 January 1823.2,3
     He was naturalized as a British citizen in 1770.3 He was an insurance broker.2
