     Reverend Mervyn Baptist Crozier was born on 20 June 1854 at Rockview, Ballyhaise, County Cavan, Ireland.1 He was the son of Reverend Baptist Barton Crozier and Catherine Mary Bolland.1 He was baptised on 12 September 1854 at Castlelerra, County Cavan, Ireland.1 He died on 1 August 1883 at age 29.1 He was buried at Prahan, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.1
     Reverend Mervyn Baptist Crozier graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1872 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was the Curate at Baggotrath, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1877 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1

     From 22 September 1885, her married name became Smith.1
