Eion Godfrey Duncan Davidson was born on 17 July 1886.1 He was the son of Hector Francis Davidson and Caroline Jane Evans.2 He married Florence Allen, daughter of William Pain Allen, on 20 July 1915.1 He died on 23 July 1974 at age 88.1

Duncan Hector Davidson of Davidston was born on 14 June 1916.1 He is the son of Eion Godfrey Duncan Davidson and Florence Allen.2 He married Lois Isobel Pattison, daughter of Reverend James Pattison, on 22 January 1942.1
Duncan Hector Davidson of Davidston held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Institute of Professional Engineers of New Zealand (F.I.P.E.N.Z.).1 On 8 September 1996 by deed of resignation he resigned his arms to Lord Lyon King of Arms for re-investitute in his cousin Alister Guthrie Davidson.1 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 9 January 1997.1 He lived in 2003 at Durham Drive, Havelock North, New Zealand.1
