     Mary Florence Eteson was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Francis Eteson.2 She married Sir Gerald Bomford, son of Samuel Bomford and Francis Jane Winter, on 17 October 1881.1 She died on 7 July 1939.1
     From 17 October 1881, her married name became Bomford.

     Sir Hugh Bomford was born on 12 August 1882.1 He was the son of Sir Gerald Bomford and Mary Florence Eteson.2 He married Margaret Evelyn Ord, daughter of Dr. Reginald Whistler Ord, on 6 September 1916.1 He died on 19 January 1939 at age 56,.1
     Sir Hugh Bomford was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was with the Indian Civil Service in 1906.1 He was Settlement Officer for Daria State between 1913 and 1916.1 He was Excise Commissioner of Central India in 1920.1 He was Settlement Commissioner of Rewa State between 1921 and 1928.1 He was member of the Board of Revenue of the United Provinces of India.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1931.1 He was Chief Secretary to the Government of the United Provinces in 1933.1 He was invested as a Knight Bachelor in 1938.1 He was acting Governor of the Central Provinces of India in 1938.1 He lived at Folkestone, Kent, England.1
