     Rosemary Maud Evelyn Sandars was the daughter of John Drysdale Sandars.2 She married Major Patrick Henry Anthony Burke, son of John Bernard Mary Burke and Constance Veronica Kirkham, on 26 June 1937.1 She and Major Patrick Henry Anthony Burke were divorced in 1948.1 She died on 2 January 1950, as the result of a hunting accident.1
     From 26 June 1937, her married name became Burke.1
