     Osbert Calmady Pollexfen Hamlyn was born on 4 September 1849.1 He was the son of Shilston Calmady Hamlyn and Sarah Carter.2 He married Ellen Maria Kinch, daughter of G. Kinch, on 28 January 1886.1 He died on 17 September 1887 at age 38, without issue.1
