     Virginia Frances Pepper was born on 9 July 1947.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Pepper.3 She married Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 2nd Bt. and Audrey Joan Newson, on 9 September 1970.1 She died on 20 February 2004 at age 56.2
     From 9 September 1970, her married name became Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes.1 She co-authored the book Bothie, the Polar Dog, published 1984, with Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 3rd Bt.1 She was awarded the Polar Medal in 1987.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Eustace Edward Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 1st Bt. was born on 29 February 1864.1 He was the son of John Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 11th Baron Saye and Sele and Lady Augusta Sophia Hay-Drummond.2 He married Florence Agnes Rathfelder, daughter of John Rathfelder, on 6 November 1894.1 He died on 9 February 1943 at age 78.1
     He fought in the Riel Rebellion in North-West Canada in 1885.1 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign between 1888 and 1889, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He fought in the Pioneer Expedition to Mashonaland in 1890.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Banbury between 1906 and 1910.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Banbury between 1910 and 1918.2 He held the office of Private Parliamentary Secretary between 1912 and 1914, to the First Lord of teh Admiralty.2 He fought in the First World War, in Flanders and the Darndenelles.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Oxfordshire Hussars.1 He was created 1st Baronet Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, of Banbury, co.
