     Patrick Raymond Godley was born on 18 April 1920.¹ He was the son of Raymond Denis Godley and Kathleen Sharpe.² He died on 9 August 1937 at age 17.¹

     Brigadier Brian Richard Godley was born on 26 March 1899.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Clements Godley and Maud Adeline Whittall.² He married Margaret Valiant Livingstone-Learmonth, daughter of Frederick Valiant Cotton Livingstone-Learmonth and Rin Aillé Eidel Marie Carlisle, on 15 September 1931.¹ He died on 3 August 1954 at age 55.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, in Mesopotamia, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the North-West Frontier India between 1921 and 1923, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier in the Indian Army.¹ He was commander of the Royal Battalion, Jat Regiment.¹ He was Deputy Director of the Organisation GHQ, India between 1944 and 1945.¹ He was Commandant of the Selangor Sub-Area in 1945.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.¹

     Frederick Valiant Cotton Livingstone-Learmonth was born on 6 June 1862.² He was the son of Thomas Livingstone-Learmonth and Louisa Maria Burer Valiant.³ He married Rin Aillé Eidel Marie Carlisle, daughter of Reverend Joseph Carlisle, on 31 October 1901.² He died on 12 July 1945 at age 83.²
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.² He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the New South Wales Mounted Rifles.² He was director of the Bank of Australasia, Australian Agricultural Company and Peel River Land Company.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He fought in the Boer War.² He lived at Newnham Manor, Crowmarsh Gifford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Valiant Livingstone-Learmonth was born on 22 June 1909.² She was the daughter of Frederick Valiant Cotton Livingstone-Learmonth and Rin Aillé Eidel Marie Carlisle.^3,2 She married Brigadier Brian Richard Godley, son of Lt.-Col. Francis Clements Godley and Maud Adeline Whittall, on 15 September 1931.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     From 15 September 1931, her married name became Godley.

     Peter Brian Godley was born on 4 October 1933.¹ He was the son of Brigadier Brian Richard Godley and Margaret Valiant Livingstone-Learmonth.² He married Jean Forbes-Robertson, daughter of Colonel James Forbes-Robertson, V.C., on 9 January 1960.¹ He died on 14 April 2014 at age 80.³
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was managing director of Charterhouse Pensions Ltd between 1978 and 1983.¹
