Helen Violet Fane was born on 29 July 1865.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Frederic Fane and Fanny Eliza Magniac.2 She married John Wentworth Garneys Bond, son of Nathaniel Bond and Lady Selina Jane Scott, on 24 August 1909.1 She died on 17 August 1952 at age 87.1

Maj.-Gen. Walter Fane was born on 6 January 1828.1 He was the son of Reverend Edward Fane and Maria Hodges.2 He was baptised on 11 January 1828 at Fulbeck, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.3 He married Agnes Bold-Hoghton, daughter of Sir Henry Bold-Hoghton, 8th Bt., on 4 August 1879.1 He died on 17 June 1885 at age 57, without issue.1

Sir Henry Bold-Hoghton, 8th Bt. was born on 3 January 1799.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Philip Hoghton, 7th Bt. and Susannah Brooke.2 He married, firstly, Dorothea Bold, daughter of Peter Patten Bold, on 23 May 1820.2 He married, secondly, Harriet Sarah Smith, daughter of John Smith, on 13 November 1847.2 He died on 19 July 1862 at age 63.2
He was given the name of Henry Hoghton at birth.2 On 15 February 1825 his name was legally changed to Henry Bold-Hoghton by Royal Licence.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Royal Lancashire Militia.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hoghton, of Hoghton Tower, and Walton le Dale, co. Lancaster [E., 1611] in 1835.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lancashire Lancs 1829.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.2
