     Frederick Hamlyn was born in 1846.2 He was the son of Robert Gosling.2 He married Christine Louisa Hamlyn-Fane, daughter of Henry Edward Hamlyn-Fane and Susan Hester Hamlyn-Williams, on 11 June 1889.1 He died on 22 July 1904, without issue.1
     Frederick Hamlyn held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He was baptised with the name of Frederick Gosling.1 On June 1889 his name was legally changed to Frederick Hamlyn by Royal Licence.2
