     Wolter Thomas Bernhard Ramsay Bentinck, Baron Bentinck was born on 30 September 1905.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Walter Guy Bentinck, Baron Bentinck and Anne Elizabeth Burnett-Ramsey.2,3 He married, firstly, Mildred Russell on 1 April 1935.1 He and Mildred Russell were divorced in 1948.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Fowlie, daughter of Alexander Fowlie, on 12 January 1949.1 He died on 28 June 1959 at age 53.1
     Wolter Thomas Bernhard Ramsay Bentinck, Baron Bentinck was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 5/7th Battalion, Gordon Highlanders, Territorial Army Reserve.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to Governor Falkland Islands.1 He succeeded to the title of 15th Baron Bentinck [The Netherlands] on 7 July 1957.1
